All About Me

My name is Angela and I am a Senior at Appalachian State University majoring in Elementary Education. I am originally from Gastonia, NC and I plan to move back in December and do my student teaching there. I am a small town girl and I really enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I LIKE……………..
The beach!!!

I love going the beach! I go to Holden Beach every summer with my family which is also very important to me. This year I was at Holden Beach for two weeks in July and Myrtle Beach for a few days in August. Going to the beach is very relaxing for me and I really enjoy laying on the beach and maybe reading a book.
Spending time with my mother!

My mother is a big part of my life. She is a very caring and loving person and I love her dearly. I enjoy spending time with my mother because she is like a best friend to me. I can talk to her about anything and she is always there to listen to me. When I go home I am either working or with my mom.
Being Outside!!!!!!

Being outdoors is another thing I enjoy a lot. I grew up in a small town and I was always outside playing or walking in the woods. I love to ride four wheelers and hike. Riding four wheelers is something that I enjoy because it is just a lot of fun. I was ten when I first went four wheeling with my family. I like hiking because it is a challenge and it too is a lot of fun. I hiked a Grandfather trail for the first time this summer and I loved it. I was a real big tom boy when i was younger because I wanted to go fishing and hunting while most girls my age was playing barbies or house. I hate being stuck in the house unless I absolutely have no choice.
Zebra Print!!!!!!

My favorite animal of all time is a zebra!!!! I love anything and everything zebra print. My whole room is decorated in zebra print. I spend way too much money on zebra print things. It is so bad that every time my friends see anything this print they either send me a text telling me they thought about me when they saw it or they send me a picture of it. I am a big black and white girl anyway so I think that has a lot to do with it.
What do I look Like?
I am a rather slim girl and I am about 5 feet 4 inches tall. I am known to dye my hair a lot but right now it is a chocolate brown. I am working on getting it back to my natural hair color which is a light chestnut brown. My hair is shoulder length at the moment but I am working on growing it out.
I would describe my eyes as mosaic with shades of blue, green, and gray in them. No one can ever figure out what color my eyes are because they change according to my mood. I like to think of my eyes as an opening to my soul.
I smile at pretty much everything. I never meet a stranger so whenever someone new passes me I greet them with a welcoming smile.
I naturally have hair as curly as cooked spaghetti when you wrap it around your fork. When I straighten it then is like the pasta was never cooked and as straight as a pin. My professors usually never know my name because sometimes I wear my hair curly and then other times straight. It has a way of confusing them.

I am very comfortable with the way I look. I love who I am and I am very happy with my appearance as well as personality.
I like a lot of things, but I hate somethings also………..
ARACHNOPHOBIA::
I do not like any kid of spider at all!!!! They creep me out when I see them crawling because I have a phobia of spiders. My fear of spiders usually make people laugh because I have been known to jump up on beds, tables, chairs and even the side of the bathtub when I see a spider, yes it is that bad! When I see a spider, I usually scream and call my roommate or whoever is around me to come kill it, because I refuse to do it. I especially do not like very large spiders because I usually freak out and cry when I see those. I’m not going to put a picture of one because I can’t even stand to look at a picture.
Messy Room=YUCK
I hate being unorganized. I especially hate when my room is messy when I have alot of work to do. I tend to be a very neat and structured person and I cannot focus if the space around me is messy.
Don’t you lie to me!!!
I do not like it when someone lies to me, especially when it is someone I care about. I am a honest person and I would like everyone to be honest with me even if they think they can’t be.
If the sun ain’t up, I ain’t up!!!!
I hate waking up real early especially on mornings when I don’t have class. Usually when I wake up early I can’t go back to sleep and that gets on my nerves because I would rather be sleeping. Although, I don’t mind it so much if the sun is up because then I am ready to begin my day!
I am pretty much a crazy, caring, couragous, country girl in a nuttshell!
I am cheerful when I am spending time with my good friends at their houses on the weekends. This makes me cheerful because I don’t usually get to see them through the week.
I am tired after doing alot of homework in the library all day. I’m so tired because I would rather be doing something else that would be more fun!
I get excited when my nephews come to visit me in Boone because I do not get to see them often and I miss them alot!
I am understanding whenever one of my friends want to talk to me about something that is bothering them because I care about their feelings.

What a cute page! Zebra print…hmm…didn’t know that about you! I’d say only a few people can pull that off! You are definitely one of them! I’ll let you know where I find awesome zebra stuff in the future! Your pics are great!

Great picture choices! Your page is appealing to the eye. It is interesting that you put the beach before spending time with your mother. I think I know the reasoning behind this. I do know you so well!

I also love going to the beach and reading me a good book! I loved your references to pasta when you were talking about your hair! It made me laugh!
